After waiting for so long EA and DICE finally launched the trailer for the new battle royale mode of Battlefield 5 which is called Firestorm. It will officially launch on March 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is going to be a battle between 64 players either solo or in squads of four. We might not see duos in April, but they may add it later.
This battle royale is different in which we'll see 17 different vehicles which are confirmed by EA and DICE. There will be Helicopters, tractors and more. There will be objectives in firestorm to complete.
Even though it's pretty interesting,  do you think that it will be able to compete with other battle royale games? Free to play games like Fortnite and Apex Legends are dominating the market right now and have more concurrent players than pubg and blackout. Blackout did a great job in the starting but we can see it dying now. Do you think it would be worth buying as so many battle royale games are free to play and good? It all depends on who wants to spend money or not. I think it's gonna be difficult for a paid game to compete with so many free to play games because people are now more interested towards free games and even EA is not satisfied with battlefield 5 sales. Maybe the players will get increased after 'firestorm'. Reviews were not appealing and because of microtransactions, people don't trust EA anymore.  But we will play Firestorm. Will you?
