Microsoft's Xbox only feature which makes it unique and attracts more and more people is backwards compatibility where last gen consoles games can be playable on current-gen consoles. People do play old games so that they can go back to their childhood and get refreshed with some amazing memories. Unfortunately, PlayStation 4 doesn't support it, but we'll see this in the PlayStation 5 where you can enjoy your all purchased PS4 games but not PS3 or PS2. Luckily, we see this feature on Xbox One and they keep on adding games which were available on Xbox 360. But now bad news is on its way. Microsoft confirmed that they've officially ended Xbox One backwards compatibility to focus on Project Scarlett. Scarlett is their next-gen console which they revealed at E3 2019 and have given us the release date of holidays 2020. We've made a separate post on it which includes all the technical specifications, release date, other features and edge to edge comparison with PS5. So do check it out to be updated with the latest news. Microsoft also confirms that Xbox Scarlett's backwards compatibility will support all the previous gen consoles. Which mean it doesn't matter how old the console or the game is, You'll be able to enjoy it on this powerful console. Xbox GamePass provides hundreds of amazing games and it's available on PC in beta. Xbox has already given plenty of Xbox 360 games to Xbox One users and now they're changing their mind and might be going to implement something else so that they can make their players happy. They always do the best to the gamers using Xbox all over the world and also said that the price of Xbox Scarlett is going to be appealing to gamers. We can see Xbox Scarlett at a good price then. If it's true then I think it's the best step ever taken by Microsoft. Both the Giants Microsoft and Sony earn profit from their services, memberships and exclusive titles also. So, I think the price will be reasonable despite such good specs.
