Super Mario Maker 2 is a side-scrolling platform game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the sequel to Super Mario Maker which was released on 10 September 2015 and Super Mario Maker 2 launched on 28 June 2019. If we compare the 1st part to the 2nd we see two major changes:-

1) Generation Difference - Super Mario Maker was released on Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3ds and the 2nd part is released on the current-gen console - Nintendo Switch. And it has no chances to release on last-gen consoles.

2) Game Mode - Super Mario Maker had only single player mode while Super Mario Maker 2 has both single-player and multiplayer modes.

The speciality of this game is, you can customize the game as you want. For one second, You'll feel like you're the developer who's developing the game. Other games don't give us many options to customize but this game does. Players create their own courses using assets from the Super Mario series and publish it online for other players to play. The sequel has added many assets and tools including course theme based on Super Mario 3d world. The game is unique and if you have a Nintendo Switch Console then it is a must buy.

It got 9.5/10 from IGN, 4/5 from Techradar, 4/5 from Trustedreviews, 4.5/5 from USGamer, 95% from VentureBeat and 89% from Metacritic.

Mario games have always been legendary so I don't think so you should think twice before buying this game. It'll help you become more creative. Super Mario Maker has sold 4 million copies worldwide and hopes so the sequel will also sell well.
