PUBG Lite released in India on 4th July. We tested this game on a couple of weak and some average performing laptops and here we're gonna share our experience about how the game actually performs. Some people claimed that this game can even run smoothly on 1st generation i3 laptops but here we are gonna tell you the truth. It's not what it looks like, they said the game is for weak PCs but you actually need a decent PC to run this game at a smooth frame rate. We didn't test this game on 2GB RAM laptops but we can imagine the scenario how bad the experience is going to be. This would run on your PC but not at a smooth frame rate. It is in beta phase so we expect performance improvements for weak laptops. We even witnessed frame drops while opening inventory.



Talking about a very weak laptop here, We tested this game on i3 5th gen, 4gb ram laptop running on Intel HD Graphics 5500. The game was smooth in starting and only minor frame drops were there which were tolerable but when we continued the game for 1 or 2 matches more, the performance got worse. The heating issues will also deplete your performance and it is very common in weak laptops. The game was running on the following settings:-
Resolution- 1280*768
Dynamic Resolution- Off
Anti-Aliasing- Very low 
Post-Processing- Very low
Shadows- Very low
Textures- Very low
Effects- Very low
Foliage- Very low
View Distance- Very low

 All the setting were low so that we could see the best frame rate possible but we couldn't. We were expecting the game to run on 30-40 fps but the frame rate was below 25.

Moving towards a better laptop. It has i5-8250U, 8GB RAM and Intel UHD Graphics 620. We have no complaints from this laptop as it performed very well with no lag.

Anti-Aliasing- Very Low
Post-Processing- Low
Shadows- Very Low
Textures- Medium
Effects- Very Low
Foliage- Very Low
View Distance- High

We focussed on both frame rate and resolution on this laptop that's why we kept some of the settings on low.

We saw that the game is not performing well on a low-end system even though it was made for low-end PCs. Hope we see an update regarding the performance as soon as possible. If you have the same PC we mentioned first or even weaker than that then you can try testing the game by yourself and you'll see the results. It was pretty disappointing for a low-end game for a low-end system to run like this. And in the end, I just wanna say "HAPPY GAMING". I know its difficult to game on such systems but hope for the best.
