EA access PS4 version was released on 24th July. We've already made a separate post on it. About its details and games available but in this post, we're going to talk about is it really worth it or not because we've already purchased EA access on PS4 and after using it for more than 10 days we can tell you better. Also, we're going to compare PS Plus and EA access and why you need PS Plus along with it.

Sharing my personal experience first, when I purchased EA access I didn't have PS Plus that means it gave me access to only story games and I couldn't access multiplayer. EA access comes with great multiplayer games like Battlefield 5, A Way Out, Fifa 19, etc. Battlefield 5 story mode is boring so who enjoys playing a multiplayer game for its story while most of the people are only playing it for the multiplayer. Multiplayer experience of war games like Battlefield is very different from its story and I'd say multiplayer is much better these days because today's fps games can't deliver like Call of Duty Modern Warfare series. The majority prefers to play multiplayer and for that PS Plus is required. So, according to us, EA access is not worth it if you don't have PS Plus. Try to buy both if you can because you won't be able to use this membership to its fullest without PS Plus. Here are some good story games you can enjoy with EA access if you don't have PS Plus:-

1) Mirror's Edge Catalyst
2) Unravel
3) Unravel 2
4) Titanfall 2 ( An FPS game with a great story and multiplayer)
5) Battlefield 4 (Has a short campaign but this game does well with multiplayer)
6) Need for Speed Payback
7) Burnout Paradise Remastered
8) Mass Effect Andromeda
9) Star Wars Battlefront 2

So, we've come to the conclusion that it's not worth it without PS Plus. But if you like any of these story games I mentioned above then you can buy it because if you go to buy an individual game it'll cost you more while EA access costs only $4.99 a month. And people like me complete story games in less than a week by playing around 6-7 hours a day. It hardly takes me 2-3 days to complete an 8-9 hours long game so buying EA access without PS Plus is also not a bad idea at all.
