The Last of Us fans will finally get an update on part 2 because Naughty Dog has announced that they will conduct a media event on September 24 and it will be hosted by Geoff Keighley. It's been a while we haven't seen anything about the Last of Us part 2. The last time we saw, it was a gameplay trailer on E3 2018. Fans (including me) got disappointed when they heard that Sony is not attending E3 2019 but the wait is finally over.
Geoff Keighley (a Canadian video game journalist) tweeted and confirmed that media passes have been given to media people to attend The Last of Us part 2 event being held on 24th September at Los Angeles, California. This event will be conducted by Sony and Naughty Dog.
1) Multiplayer
The last of us had a good multiplayer, the servers for the PS3 has been turned off but the servers on PS4 are still active. That means you can still enjoy the multiplayer of The Last of Us on PS4. Talking about the multiplayer of The Last of Us part 2, it will be announced on September 24.
2) Plot
We've haven't seen any trailer yet where we can guess what will be the plot of The Last of Us part 2. There were some hints given before but we kept on guessing that who are these characters and what role are they playing. But on the event day, we'll come to know about the plot also.
3) A look at the Infected
We haven't seen infected in any of the trailers out till now. And obviously, they aren't going to be similar to the first part. And this time, we may see the infection in animals also.
4) A Glimpse of Joel
Yes, it's true. Finally, a new trailer will be released where Joel will be shown. When we saw the first teaser of The Last of Us part 2, we only heard his voice and saw some of his back shots. But in this trailer, the face of Joel will be shown.
5) Release Date
Release date of The Last of Us part 2 will be announced on this event and I know this is the only thing most of the people are waiting for. Don't worry we'll come to know about it super soon. If I talk about our speculation, it can be released in the first quarter of 2020.
