The moment we were waiting for so long is finally here. Sony has officially made some confirmations through a tweet and said that next-gen PlayStation will be called PlayStation 5. Sony didn't tell much about the console except a few things. PS5 will be out next year, launching in the time for holiday 2020. Even the Xbox Scarlett has holiday 2020 release window and many believe that PS5 will be out after Xbox Scarlett.

Design
Sony hasn't talked or revealed the design of PS5 but we see many fan arts and leaked images on the Internet and there's no proof that it's true. Many people didn't like the design leaked so I don't think so that Sony will go with it. When the PS4 came out back in 2013, its design was one of the most liked things. The futuristic design of fat PS4 is still liked by many. And according to us, PS5 will look more futuristic, slim and most importantly will be as powerful as an expensive gaming PC.

DUALSHOCK 5
And another big thing they confirmed is the new DualShock controller with the PS5. They said that they're doing several changes to the controller like they're replacing the Rumble Technology which they've been using since the original Playstation with the Haptic Feedback Technology and it promises to offer a broader range of feedback.

Adaptive Triggers
They're making changes in the L2 and R2 triggers of the controller which they named as Adaptive Triggers. With this tech, we'll be able to program the resistance of triggers so that you feel the tactile sensation of drawing a bow and arrow or accelerating an off-road vehicle through rocky terrain. Sony also said that game developers have started receiving these controllers and we're excited to see what new they'll do with it.

In the end, they said that they'll be revealing more in the year ahead. This is just the beginning and we have plenty of things to see in the coming future like more details and confirmations about the PS5 and great PS4 exclusives like Death Stranding, The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.
