Resident Evil 3 Remake has been released and most of you must be enjoying it right now. And we are here to share with you some amazing Resident Evil 3 facts which you must know if you're a true fan of the series.

10) Nemesis design
The design of Nemesis was originally a rejected design of Mr X. We saw Mr X first in Resident Evil 2 1998 and in Resident Evil 2 Remake, Mr X looks scarier than ever.

9) Resident Evil 3: Biohazard
Producer Shinji Mikami was against calling Resident evil 3 as Biohazard. He thought that Resident Evil Code Veronica progressed much more than this game and deserves to be called true part 3 and Resident Evil 3 should be called Biohazard 1.9 or 1.5 but later Capcom decided that since Resident Evil 3 had been specifically made for PlayStation, it should have a number to maintain continuity and Resident Evil Code Veronica was developed for Sega Dreamcast so a subtitle was given to it instead of a number.

8) Beta and Gamma
This is the first Resident Evil game to have two different kinds of hunters; beta and gamma. I still remember how I used to avoid them in the original game. They are ugly looking and hard to kill and you'll probably find yourself avoiding them when you don't have enough ammo.

7) Sequel or Prequel of Resident Evil 2?
The first half of Resident Evil 3 takes place before the events of Resident Evil 2 and the second half takes place after the events of Resident Evil 2 which makes it prequel and sequel at the same time.

6) First Resident Evil character in a fighting game
Jill Valentine is the first Resident Evil character to appear in a fighting game which is Marvel vs Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes and it was released in 2000 while Nemesis was also a playable character in Marvel vs Capcom 3 Fate of New Worlds which was released in 2011.

5) Eagle reference
The name of the pet store "eagle's pet shop" is a reference to Eagle from Street Fighter series.

4) Dino Crisis reference
In the hospital lobby, there's a poster of Dino Crisis which also shows its first release date, July 1st 1999 in Japan.

3) Burger Kong
You must've noticed that there are burger kong ads throughout the Racoon City and it's a reference to Burger King and they changed king to kong obviously trying to avoid being similar.

2) Password of Lockers
This one is hella interesting and you might not know this. If you visit the locations of Resident Evil 2 in Resident Evil 3 Remake, the codes you used to unlock lockers would be the same codes you used in Resident Evil 2 Remake.

1) Dario Rosso
You remember the guy Darrio Rosso? If you go back to the warehouse after the encounter with Nemesis at the Racoon Police Department, you'll find that Dario Rasso, the guy who locked himself in the container has been killed by the zombies.

Okay, so 10 facts are done and here comes a bonus fact.

Bonus Fact: According to the Japanese sources, the name of the female hostage in a mad jackal mini-game is Lucia Rosso, Dario Rasso's daughter.
