PlayStation 5 has a holiday 2020 release window. Sony told us about most of its features but the price is an exception. According to a report by Bloomberg, PS5 price will sit around $500-550 which is pretty reasonable for a 4k gaming console. Why we put this title, you'll come to know further. We made a video on PS5 a month ago where we gave you insider news and we're again here to share insider news with you which nobody will tell you. If you haven't watched the video, We'll attach it with this post and you must watch it. The news is very interesting.

Both Sony and Microsoft have revealed the specifications of their next-gen consoles and it is clearly evident that Xbox Series X is superior to PS5 if we talk about mere raw power but there will be barely a difference in games as both the consoles will support native 4k and 60 fps gaming. I talked to my friend some weeks ago whose relative works in a tech-magazine, and he has again given me some insider news. He talked about games that can be launched alongside PS5 and the price. We'll be telling you about the games in the next post so let's talk about the price for now.

In real, Sony wants to keep the price as low as possible or close to PS4 if possible because they've already done the mistake of keeping the price of PS3 high and a lot of people didn't buy it at launch. But when the PS4 was launched in 2013, it was priced at $399 and later in 2016, Sony reduced the price to $299 and the more powerful PS4 Pro was launched at $399 same as the fat PS4 but at that time Microsoft launched the Xbox One at a whopping $499 but soon enough they cut the cost when they realized that it's affecting the sales figure.

Bloomberg reports that the higher price at launch will result in lower demand and Sony is planning to manufacture 5-6 million units by March 2021 which is lower than 7.5 million units made for PS4 at release. Sony said that they haven't planned yet to delay the PS5 due to the situation happening in the world. Sources say if Xbox Series X won't get delayed then PS5 also won't be delayed.

Low capacity SSD and Low Teraflops isn't a coincidence. While these things are higher in Series X. Sony is targeting to keep the price lower than Xbox Series X, no matter how much it costs.
